Annual Golf & Tennis Charity Event
Bedminster, NJ (August 15, 2006)—GettingHired, provider of advanced screening and matching capabilities for employers and job seekers, continues its support to local charities by signing on as a Grand Slam Sponsor for The Ruth Bass Foundation 2006 Tennis Benefit and Golf Outing. This day long event will be held on Monday, August 28 at the Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange, NJ, and The Essex County Country Club in West Orange, NJ. Event proceeds benefit local community centers.

The 2006 Tennis Benefit & Golf Outing will raise money for The Ruth Bass Foundation to provide various donations of food, clothing, and other lifestyle materials to underprivileged neighborhoods in New Jersey. The event raised close to $70,000 last year.
This year, the tennis portion of the event will feature lessons and clinics with professional tennis legends and a Pro-Am tennis tournament with such tennis greats such as Pat Cash, Guillermo Vilas, and Roy Emerson. The golf portion features a brunch buffet, Trick Shot Exhibition, and Shotgun Start. The event will conclude with a poolside cocktail party and barbeque bash for all in attendance. A silent auction and raffle will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The Ruth Bass Foundation was established in memory of Ruth Bass, who throughout her lifetime displayed countless charitable acts to bring a greater quality of life to less fortunate neighborhoods of New Jersey.
